About the postition
LKAB is currently building a group-wide function in terms of strategy and business development, and an expansion plan is being developed. The expansion plan focuses partly on organic growth and partly on business-driven growth. The expansion potentials (mineral resources) that are currently identified will be further developed into mineral reserves in accordance with the international reporting standard PERC (Pan-European Standard for Reporting of Exploration Results, Mineral Resources and Reserves). We are now looking for a Senior Mine Planner who has good knowledge of the Deswik software or similar mine planning softwares and who, in accordance with the reporting standard, can lead the work of planning and reporting mineral reserves in Kiruna. The work also includes assisting in the development of working methods in the company and reporting completed studies in connection with the annual reporting of mineral resources and mineral reserves.
You must have at least 5 years of relevant mining planning experience, and also have experience with the requirements that work according to international accounting standards requires. It is desirable that you are qualified in mining and mineral processing. It is an advantage if you have knowledge and experience of mining and refining of iron ore and / or large-scale underground mining. You have great integrity and an ethical approach, good ability to collaborate and communicate with others, and an interest in and experience in strategic project management. You are systematic, structured and self-sufficient. You express yourself well in English and / or Swedish in both speech and writing.
