We use graphic elements as a tool for creating recognition. Our pattern design and organic raster are used as decorative details, while pictograms and symbols are used to illustrate a context or function or to support a message.
In its basic version our pattern consists of the white mountain peaks and the black orebody placed on an LKAB Dark Blue background. The pattern is always to be cropped. Make sure that the three peaks are always visible.
In exceptional cases the pattern can be simplified by using a transparent image of the white mountains only. In these cases a monochrome original is used. Placing text on the mountains is permitted only when they are used in transparent form.
The organic raster forms an illustration and is used as a complement to our visual identity. This could be in the form of textile prints or glass films, but also in digital productions.
The organic raster must only be used by professional designers. The raster can never replace our pattern for the purpose of building our identity; nor is it to be placed together with the pattern on an item.
Our isometric illustrations play an important part in our communication. They are based on simplified shapes and are used to describe such things as the process flows in our operations. They are also used as standalone objects. The illustrations must only contain the most essential information required to communicate what the illustration depicts.
