Quality and the environment are a theme in everything we do at LKAB. Quality is, and will remain, our most important means of competition.

Quality is not just about products, but about operations large and small throughout the company. LKAB’s work is naturally characterized by consideration for the environment, which means e.g. that today we sort 89 per cent of all waste. Thanks to increased awareness and vigorous measures, discharges of particulates, sulphur dioxide and fluorine have halved since 1980 despite the fact that pellets production more than tripled over the same period.
