There are several upper secondary school alternatives for people interested in a future job at LKAB. There are specific courses in Kiruna and Malmberget with an LKAB profile created in collaboration with the company.

These courses provide an enhanced insight into the company and knowledge that is aimed directly at specific professional roles within the company and which include a lot of work experience in close connection with operations.

Because LKAB covers such a broad area of different professional roles there are also many different routes into the company. For example, technological, electrical and vehicle training all provide qualifications for work within the company. No matter what choice you make before starting upper secondary the door is open with opportunities for internal training, or additional training in other fields after leaving school.
